Who are the coordinators of the KEDGE Alumni Dublin branch?
Run by two volunteer graduates, this branch aims to allow alumni and local students to meet from time to time during afterworks, visits or other friendly events.
KEDGE Alumni has many branches all over the world in order to allow alumni and students on site to meet each other, expand their network, exchange on their respective experiences and have a good time.
Today, we invite you to discover the portrait of our new hosts of the Dublin branch.
Camille TOUSSAINT (PGE 2021) & Gaël MOSENEGO (PGE 2022)
Today, you live in Dublin. What do you like about Ireland, and more particularly Dublin ? What is different from France?
Ireland is a small country, quiet, full of resources and green spaces that make the beauty of the landscape. 🌿
The Irish are a great people, kind, approachable and above all constantly in a good mood and warm, I think that's what comforts us in our choice of expatriation on a daily basis.
Tell us a little about your professional background: what position do you currently hold? What was your educational and professional background to get to this point?
We are both recent graduates of KEDGE.
Gaël is Account Development Representative for the Israeli market at MongoDB. He joined PGE after a DUT.
Camille is currentlyan Account Strategist for Google on the French market .
We were both in the Melting Potes association in Bordeaux during our studies at KEDGE.
You are now in charge of the local branch of KEDGE Alumni. What motivated you to apply as a volunteer?
We both moved to Dublin last August and we wanted to get closer to our network to meet new people.
In addition, Alexandre De Juan Mateo, who was the former head of the Dublin office, was Camille's tutor during her internship in Dublin in 2020.
We contacted him to find out who, 2 years after the pandemic, was managing the antenna, only to discover that it had not been revived post-covid.
We were looking for a project outside of our core job, and taking over this branch turned out to be a great opportunity !
What is your fondest memory as an on-air host or the event that made the biggest impression on you?
The wine tasting that took place on April 18th was a success well beyond our expectations. Thanks to the Dublin network, our canvassing of local restaurants and our superb Kedge Alumni Wine Expert Caroline DUVAL🍷, we learned a lot about wine tasting in an exceptional setting. Some Alumni even came from Galway especially for the occasion.
What are your ambitions for this branch, what are your projects?
We aim to organize an event every two months. After surveying the network, the Alumni seem interested in sports and culinary meetings but also networking afterworks. We therefore plan to organize such meetings throughout the year and double our average of 20 participants per event. 🚀
What message would you like to send to graduates and students visiting or living in Dublin?
Mobilize your network as soon as possible to get "tips" on finding accommodation or good addresses in Dublin. Join the chapter to meet people quickly and participate in fun events throughout the year.
