A look back at the first Réussites Solidaires: working together for equal opportunities
On December 5, to mark World Equal Opportunities Day, KEDGE Business School and its Foundation organized a landmark event: the first edition of Réussites Solidaires.
Organized by the Student Life team and the KEDGE Foundation, this first edition of successes in solidarity brought together students, graduates, partners and stakeholders to celebrate concrete initiatives in favor of education and inclusion. 🌟
🤝 A collective commitment to equal opportunity
🤝 Anne-France Piteau, KEDGE's Director of Transition & Impact, opened the ceremony by recalling the commitments of the School and its Foundation to guarantee equitable access to quality education for all, in line with the UN's sustainable development goals. The KEDGE Foundation is committed on a daily basis to enabling young people to realize their potential and to accompanying them towards success.
Thanks also to the support of partners such asID Logistics and Pernod Ricard, essential schemes enable students to pursue their ambitions under the right conditions.
🎓 KEDGE Alumni was proudly represented throughout the day, with graduates mobilized to testify, inspire and act. Whether through their commitment to the Executive Committee of the KEDGE Foundation - with Emeline Bourgoin, Jean-François Thunet, Laurent Cohen and Benjamin Gaignault , or through their active participation in concrete initiatives.
🚀 A ceremony punctuated by the young people's journey: three key stages
👀 Daring to study: Bilel Brahem, President of Phoenix EDC, spoke about his association's initiatives to help young people in Marseille achieve success. The aim: to reduce inequalities and create opportunities to reveal different talents.
🌟 Integrating a grande école: Sandro Cohn, a student at École Entrepreneuriale, captivated the audience by sharing his entrepreneurial experience and the creation of CYCL, a brand of eyewear made from recycled plastic. "Today, I turned 'I won't make it' into 'anything is possible'."
🎓 Réussir sa scolarité: Melissa Boulafa and Nabil Saker, students at KEDGE, testified to the impact of bien-être schemes on their career paths. Marion Goilav, graduate and founder of Elia, followed up on the exchanges by sharing the genesis of her lingerie company and the commitment she has made to combating menstrual precariousness, a central issue for social inclusion.
🎓 Why do graduates have a key role to play?
By supporting the KEDGE Foundation, each graduate helps to finance essential student programs, particularly in the fields of welfare and social support. Tatiana Bornet, Head of Student Life, pointed out that nearly "40% of students say they do not have sufficient resources to cover their basic needs". These challenges represent so many opportunities for alumni to make a concrete difference, whether through donations or by becoming mentors. 🌟
The first edition of Réussites Solidaires demonstrated the importance of a collective commitment to building a more inclusive future. Under the aegis of the Fondation de France, the KEDGE Foundation works every day to support the talents of tomorrow. As a graduate, you too can be a key player in this movement. Make a donation to the KEDGE Foundation before December 31 and receive a tax receipt for 2024. Every contribution counts in supporting future generations and enabling them to dare, integrate and succeed.
