This Kedger’s Audio-Visual Production Agency is a Big Hit!
KEDGE graduate Cédric Manoukian is the co-founder of a digital production agency specialising in outdoor filming.
Cédric Manoukian began working on getting his bachelor degree in Finance at KEDGE Marseille in 2010.
"I didn't know what kind of job I wanted, but I wanted to have an international career and try as many things out as possible. One thing I remember about KEDGE is that it made you think [...] I've always been very sporty and I like to travel, but I never thought that one day I’d be able to do it as my job," Cédric told us.
During his second year, Cédric did an Erasmus exchange in Sweden for a semester. "It was incredible. I studied marketing and the beginnings of the digital world". In 2013, after he got his Bachelor's degree, he got his Master in Management in the Grande Ecole Programme. He had a more precise idea of what he wanted to do - work in the digital world on an international level - but didn’t know how he would get there. The same year he founded an association called “Mountains Legacy” with his twin brother Jordan and a friend Florent, in which make photos and videos for sporting events around their home.

"At the time, we were producing short mountaineering and racing videos with a "vertiginous" edge in the mountains and well-known spots in the region. Then we launched a Facebook page to share our content. The feedback was incredible - thousands of views and hundreds of comments," he said.
Cédric wanted be an entrepreneur very early on. "By the time my second Master's internship at Salomon (a leader in the outdoor products market) was finished, I knew that I hadn't yet found "THE job", even though I was working for an exciting company with an exceptional corporate culture.”
After he got his Master degree, he spent the next three years forming Mountains Legacy with his two associates. Mountains Legacy went from a simple idea to a Pro-act, then an association, and finally a company. "We’ve finally found the name that perfectly fits the multiple activities of Mountains Legacy: Creative Digital Production Agency. This project has taken us to more than 40 countries to shoot, including an expedition to locations with altitudes of more than 6,000 metres in Peru, as well as many other adventures."
Mountains Legacy is developing in several areas and brings together all the areas of expertise of a classic production company: director, photographer, editor, and drone pilot. They are specialists in outdoor filming as well as in monitoring athletes in the mountains or in extreme environments.
"Our added values are our level of physical fitness, the different sports we practice, our network of top athletes, and our expertise on social networks," explained Cédric.
Lastly, Mountains Legacy plays the role of marketer (not to mention influencer). It offers digital campaigns to promote their clients' products on Instagram Instagram.
"We are currently working with clients such as Visa, Le club Med, Tag Heuer, Parrot, Scott, and GoPro. We always try to adapt our projects and associate them with the client’s issues. At the moment we're making a 54-minute long format film about an extraordinary athlete, the idea is to make this film available on streaming platforms, TV, and at international festivals," he concluded.
