INTERVIEW 💬
1️⃣To begin, tell us about your educational background. What did you study, both before and at KEDGE?
Before arriving at KEDGE I went through the IUT Tech de Co de Saint Nazaire where I started to study subjects necessary to set up a business such as marketing or communication. I also took part in two associations that allowed me to assert myself in project management. At KEDGE I did the Master in Management Grande Ecole. I consolidated the basics I’d already acquired in L3. In M1, I moved towards an "à la carte" course to focus on what I liked: marketing and entrepreneurship. Currently, I'm doing a gap year. I started this year with a six-month internship in a consultancy and recruitment firm specialising in sales, in Brussels. It's a young company with a startup atmosphere. My role is to manage the firm's communication and marketing activities. In this experience, I’m very independent and free to suggest ideas. I really like this freedom, this confidence, and the startup experience in general. A project that preserves the planet and respects the condition of mankind. That's why I created a brand of sustainable, unisex, and made in France shirts.

2️⃣ What are you doing/what is your situation today? What gave you the idea and why do you want to do what you’re doing today?
The textile industry is one of the most polluting industries in the world. According to the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s 2017 report: A New Textiles Economy: Redesigning Fashion’s Future, the textile industry accounts for 1.2 billion tons of CO2 emissions worldwide. However, our consumption habits are not changing as fast as the global situation demands. Along with my brother Pierre, in September 2019 we created Gratitude - a brand of unisex shirts that are sustainable and made in France. Gratitude is not just a brand. It’s an invitation to take care of the world around us. And to do it correctly, we work with people who are passionate about their jobs and have real know-how. To limit our impact as much as possible, our shirts travel only 200km from the place of production to storage, which is about 50 times less than a shirt made in Asia.
Ultimately, we want to offer a complete wardrobe, for both men and women, that is environmentally-friendly and entirely made in France. This will help limit the greenhouse gas emissions generated by the excessive transport of production materials and the import of finished products.
3️⃣ How did your education at KEDGE Business School help you become who you are today, and what was it about its teachings helped you develop your project?
The courses I took, and the associations I joined, helped me acquire skills in marketing, communication, entrepreneurship, and project management. More generally, my experience at KEDGE Business School let me master all aspects needed to manage a business.
