Mentorship Program: providing mutual support between KEDGE BS students and graduates.
The strength and power of a network are largely measured by its capacity to foster mutual support between its members. There is no point in having a lot of members if they aren’t able to contribute or receive support from one another. Eager to provide Kedgers with simple and efficient tools to promote solidarity between its graduates, KEDGE BS Alumni created the Mentorship Programme, which has already proven its worth after only a few short months.

Benefits for both parties
Clearly, getting support from an experienced alumnus is extremely valuable to budding Kedgers; however, graduates also have a lot to gain from this experience. By sharing his or her experience with young talents, the alumnus can expand his or her network (and discover young entrepreneurs) and knowledge (by discovering new work methods, new tools). Additionally, it can always be interesting to get a new perspective on one's profession.
For the student/recent graduate, the programme provides an ideal means of obtaining support to build his or her professional project. It also provides an interesting way to learn about a sector and develop one's network. Finally, it enables the student or recent graduate to efficiently prepare his or her entry into the employment market.

Our mission: connect graduates and students
In order for this programme to be efficient, we just need two parties: the mentors (KEDGE BS graduates who already have experience in a certain sector) and the mentees (students or recent graduates seeking to develop their skills). KEDGE BS Alumni and the mentorship programme’s role is to connect these two parties. To do so, we have created an easy to access platform, which allows alumni to offer their services as mentors, and students or recent graduates to request mentoring services. The two parties then define their common objectives. To achieve these objectives, they agree to meet 3-5 times during a 1-3 month period. These meetings can be conducted via email, phone, face to face, or via Skype depending on each person’s availability.
Are you an experienced graduate, a recent graduate or student wishing to learn from your peers? Don’t hesitate any longer!
