2024 is all about you: your successes, your...
KEDGE has created the "Entrepreneural School", an initiative aimed at young people from priority neighbourhoods.
This inititiative is to help young people from these neighbourhoods train to become entrepreneurs. We are looking for sponsors.
We told you about it back in June in one of our news articles, but today it's final - KEDGE has just launched its "Entrepreneurial School". This is a solidarity initiative that offers young people (mostly from priority neighbourhoods) a 3-year course of study that is financed by sponsors. The first cycle starts in Marseille in November 2020 and will be extended to Bordeaux and Paris in the following years.
Until recently, there was an inequality of opportunity between those with and without a high school diploma. Today, many high school diploma holders from priority districts, are out of the recruiters' circuit or can’t carry out their entrepreneurial project because they run into too many obstacles, mainly due to a lack of qualifications. Because adding two years of post-high school education (BAC +2) to a curriculum vitae increases employability by 30%, the post-high school years have therefore become pivotal.
Based on this observation, KEDGE has invested in a mission to support these young people by offering them a unique and personalised value proposition: the "Entrepreneurial School".
I’m a graduate. How can I help support the project?
1) By letting those around you know about it
Do you have a friend, relative, or know someone who works in the guidance or education sector? Do you work with associations that work with young people from priority neighbourhoods? Then please don't hesitate to share this initiative with them!
Our best spokespersons are you, our graduates! We are counting on your support to spread the word about this solidarity initiative.
2) I will make a donation to finance the success of these young people
As explained above, the future of these young people depends on funding from sponsors. Each graduate can help this initiative, and by extension these young people, by donating to the KEDGE Foundation, which each redistributes the donations annually.
