Testimony of Adrien Faye, ISLI graduate (Continuing Education) in 2022 and today U PROXIMITE FRANCE Logistics Director at Systeme U
A graduate of the ISLI program in Continuing Education, Adrien Faye looks back on his career path, his training at KEDGE and what it has enabled him to achieve in his career. An inspiring journey resulting from a successful step back thanks to his training.
💼 A PROFESSIONAL LIFE BEFORE RETURNING TO THE SCHOOL BENCHES
At the beginning of the training, I held the position of National Transport Manager in the cooperative "U proximité France". U proximité France is a cooperative with 400 local sales outlets spread over two thirds of the French territory. The function consisted in piloting the distribution activities through the whole network of sales outlets.
👨💻 WHY DID YOU JOIN OUR ISLI PROGRAM IN CONTINUING EDUCATION?
During my previous professional experience, I had been expatriated for 4 years in South Africa. Upon my return I wanted to capitalize on this experience and deepen my knowledge acquired during the various projects. The ISLI continuing education program provides a complete supply chain program that is certifying.
✅ THE ADVANTAGES AND BENEFITS OF THIS PROGRAM
The advantages are great in terms of personal knowledge in global supply chain and its ecosystem. On the professional side, I have evolved by taking over the supply-chain management of the U proximity France cooperative. This includes all logistics, transport, supply and relations with the cooperative members.
This evolution was possible thanks to the diversity of the acquired skills.
👉 MEMORABLE EXPERIENCES AND MEMORIES
The training course took place at a steady pace with periods of heavy work. However, all the professors are attentive and this allows us to be well accompanied during these intense moments. The memories are numerous (group work in video, evenings after class, etc.).
What impressed me the most was the group spirit. Everyone comes with their knowledge and makes sure that the whole group can benefit from it. If I had to do it again, I would do it without any hesitation.
🚀 THE ISLI PROGRAM: A FACTOR IN PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL PROGRESSION
This training is intended for all people who have a desire to evolve in the supply chain sector. The jobs are very varied and this makes the training very rich. During the training, we had very varied profiles (transport, logistics, supply) coming from different structures (globally recognized industrial, regional service providers). This richness made us all evolve and our visions could be challenged. We have all progressed personally and professionally.
