Along with his partner Frédéric Gibourdel, Jean-Christophe created "OnParticipe", an online money collection site made in France. "I very quickly wanted to start my own business, and I looked around a long time for right idea. After taking part in other pools on competing sites, I realised that there was a lot to bring to this arena as well, and that it is particularly important to have one that is made in France," he explained.
Associations can collect donations, but they can also collect member dues directly via the site. They also wanted to make the participation more fun by rewarding members with badges that can be shared on social networks.
OnParticipe has created a simple, convenient, and secure space so collecting money stays fun. So whether you have a friend's birthday, a collection for colleague who is leaving, or a social cause to defend, let’s get started!
The principle is very simple:
• Creation: I create a customised pool online
• Sharing: I invite my friends to contribute to the pool
• Participation: My friends and I contribute via bank card
• Use: I use the money as I wish
Once the platform has been developed, Jean-Christophe and Frédéric want members to be able to create an online ticketing system.
After two years of AB Testing, OnParticipe now wants the word to get out through the press and the development of partnerships.
