4th place for KEDGE in the Figaro Etudiant's ranking of the greenest schools
Faced with the rising importance of ecology among the selection criteria for business school candidates, Le Figaro Etudiant publishes its "ranking of the greenest establishments", in which KEDGE is ranked 4th.
A crucial issue for our future, ecology is now one of the deciding criteria when selecting future business school students. More aware and more committed, these new Kedgers are attentive to the place that ecology takes in their education. It is in this context that Le Figaro Etudiant has set about classifying French business schools according to this new criterion.
To establish its ranking, Le Figaro Etudiant closely examined the various initiatives and commitments of schools that favour the environment, such as energy consumption on their campuses, installation of beehives, publications by teacher-researchers on sustainable subjects, awareness-raising workshops, recycling on campuses, and the emphasis of ecology in the programmes.
Recognised for several years now for the excellence of its commitment to CSR, it is logical that KEDGE Business School has placed in the Top 5, taking 4th place behind HEC Paris, Grenoble EM and EDHEC, and ahead of many of its direct competitors such as ESSEC (6th), Skema (10th), and Audencia (11th).

As an example, here are some figures that represent the environmental actions taken by the school:
- 90 to 100% recycling (cans, plastic bottles, paper, cardboard)
- 70,500 cigarette butts harvested and repurposed in 2019
- 1,800kg of compost produced in 2018-2019
Le Figaro Etudiant has also recognised KEDGE for its 67 articles on CSR topics that have been published by the CNRS and FNEGE in their magazines.
Many of KEDGE's graduates are also committed and enterprising with an awareness of sustainability issues. Throughout the year, we publish many portraits and interviews about them, which you can (re)discover here:
KEDGE a également été reconnu par Le Figaro Etudiant pour ses 67 sujets RSE publiés dans des revues CNRS et FNEGE.
Congratulations to the school, its students, and its graduates for earning this ranking!
