A graduate from KEDGE's ISLI programme is interviewed by Le Figaro

The excellence of KEDGE Business School's ISLI programme in Supply Chain Managment is well-proven. This has again been emphasised by Le Figaro which, in an article highlighting the most sought-after skills on the labour market, cited the school's logistics training as a leader in this field.

The article is based on an interview with Marie-Laure Furgala, a KEDGE graduate and Director of the ISLI Programme.

The assessment was then supported by the testimonial of Wajdi Kridan, a former student of the ISLI programme:

At 35 years of age, Wajdi Kridan was quickly attracted to the field of logistics. Two years after receiving his Master 1 in Economics and Management, he completed his Master as Head of the Logistics Division of Promotrans, a company that provides training. This allowed him to advance, and he then went to work for Lidl as Supply Chain Manager. He stayed there almost three years.

"I was looking for a curriculum that would give me a more global vision of the supply chain," he explained. In 2017, Wajdi took the plunge and chose the ISLI - MSc Global Supply Chain Management programme at KEDGE Business School in Bordeaux. He moved from Lyon to Bordeaux with his wife and two children, resigned from his job at Lidl in May, and began doing an alternating work/study at Lesieur in September. "I answered an advert posted on the school's website. I was hired within 48 hours," he added.

The MSc programme has 120 participants. It welcomes both students in the last year of the Grande Ecole Programme and experienced employees.

Wajdi completed his training at the end of December 2018 and went to work in the food industry for Mondelez International (LU, Belin, Milka, Toblerone, Hollywood Chewing Gum, etc) where he was in charge of scheduling and procurement at the LU plant in Cestas, near Bordeaux. "I was working in the food industry, but I could have been working in aeronautics or pharmaceuticals," explained Wajdi. “I work in an industrial environment that is much more technical, which I could not have imagined being able to do without the MS. It opened doors for me.”
