A look back at the first Réussites Solidaires: working...
Insuneo, the new digital insurance broker launched by a KEDGE graduate!
Paul Dominique Vacharasinthu, a Franco-Thai entrepreneur, and Guillaume de Froment, an Alumnus of KEDGE's International Business Master's programme, have just founded Insuneo, a digital insurance broker for individuals and SMEs based in Bordeaux.
The story began in France, England, and Spain where Guillaume passed the Bac leaving exams at the Lycée Français de Madrid after 15 years of living abroad. He went on to complete a Bachelor's degree in International Management at ESC Clermont earning a double degree in Emerging Markets Management at the Universidad ESAN in Lima, Peru.
When he returned to France, he decided to enter KEDGE's Specialised Master in International Business on its campus in Bordeaux. He worked for the multinational company Danone Waters as a sales manager for the Corsica region during his 1st-year internship. There he developed close relationships with the major retailers in a very competitive market mainly dominated by local water companies such as Saint Georges and Orezza.
Aware of Thailand's growing importance in the South East Asian economy, Guillaume went to work for Luma Care, a wholesale broker specialising in international health insurance, based in Bangkok and managed by Paul Dominique Vacharasinthu. Starting off with a six-month internship as part of the business development team, he was hired as a key account manager at the end of his internship. In that position, Guillaume was in charge of developing the group's image and the portfolios of clients in Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Laos.
In 2019, he was promoted to distribution manager and continued to gain expertise in personal insurance when he managed the company's product development department.
In 2022, Paul Dominique and Guillaume began the expansion of the Luma Group in Europe, and more specifically in France, with the launch of Insuneo, a digital insurance brokerage company specialising in insurance solutions for individuals and small and medium-sized businesses.
Appointed Managing Director on 1 September 2022, Guillaume has a very clear plan for running Insuneo:
"Insuneo wants to redefine and simplify the insurance brokerage business. We are a company centred on digitalisation and personalised follow-up. Our main objective is to make life easier for our customers and their employees. We offer a complete service to our clients, from finding the ideal solution to completing and monitoring the contract. Each of our customers has access to a personalised and secure space for easy and optimal use, from electronic signatures to faster and more individualised communications with the Insuneo advisor."
Aware that most French people are not familiar with the coverage they have taken out, Insuneo offers personalised support in understanding the guarantees and benefits of the contracts they've purchased. For example, when a company enters into a group health insurance contract, Insuneo provides a half-day training session for all employees to explain in detail the coverage included in their contract, as well as all of the advantages so they can make the best use of their insurance.
Finally, in a complicated economic context, Insuneo offers individuals and professionals free analysis of their existing contracts to ensure they can get the best price, both in terms of coverage and insurance premiums. Should you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Insuneo by email at guillaume.d@insuneo.com or through the social networks Facebook or LinkedIn.
