Have you heard of Cook’it, KEDGE Bordeaux’s cooking club?
The cooking club of Bordeaux is calling for donations!
At your forks, with Cook'it!
Cook'it is KEDGE Business School’s cooking club. Its objective is to promote “clean eating”, a gastronomic pleasure, even for students. “If we had to summarise Cook’it in a few words, we would say, Conviviality, Family, and Professionalising" -Thibaut Petit, the club’s events manager.
He added:
Conviviality, because it’s the value that best defines us and is an essential one in the culinary world that we want to share with others.
Family, because we spend lots of time together, and not only during the various events we hold. Each one of us has found our place in the club and that’s something that is close to our hearts.
Professionalising, because we carry out projects that bring us an awareness of professional life, through quality events that are continually increasing in scale. This year, we are joining forces with KEDGE’s entrepreneurial association and holding a culinary pitching competition, which lets us take another step towards our careers in the professional world.
In addition, Cook'it holds more than twenty events throughout the year, whether within KEDGE or out.
We are developing a lot of new projects this year. To stay informed or take part, just follow the Cook'it Kbs page on Facebook.
Zoom sur Master Cook'it, le concours de cuisine de l'asso !
Master Cook'it is an inter-business school cooking competition organised by Cook'it. Ten teams of two students come from all over France for a weekend to compete against each other in three tests before a jury of professionals. The 12 of us have been working since the beginning of the year to organise this competition, and it represents a lot of hard work. This year we are celebrating Master Cook'it’s 10th year, and we intend to mark the occasion!
The competition will take place in a prestigious location: the Domaine de Raba. The jury will be made up of several chefs, including two starred chefs: Alexandre Baumard (Logis de la Cadène, 1 Michelin star), Tanguy Laviale (Garopapilles, 1 Michelin star), and Olivier Straehli (winner of the 2003 cuisine.tv competition and author of several books).
The competition will take place in Talence with the theme of sharing, gastronomy, and conviviality.
