KEDGE graduate Hélène-Anaïs Bouscarle has been appointed Head of CSR at IXO Private Equity
iXO Private Equity, a leading regional private equity firm, is further strengthening its societal commitment with the arrival of Hélène-Anaïs Bouscarle as Head of CSR.
In this position, she will be mainly responsible for assisting companies in defining their areas of progress and formalising a more responsible and sustainable approach.
Hélène-Anaïs Bouscarle holds a degree from KEDGE Business School (Marseille) and has 15 years of experience in all areas of CSR. She has successively been an Auditor and Senior Consultant in sustainable development for the auditing and consulting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers, Deputy Head of Sustainable Responsibility and Environmental Manager at BNP Paribas Cardif, and then Corporate Sustainable Responsibility Manager at the shipping company CMA CGM in Marseille. These different positions have given her solid expertise in CSR issues and how they play out in companies.
Now, Hélène-Anaïs has joined iXO Private Equity's front office team and is tasked with increasing the management company's support for managers of SMEs and SMIs by helping them implement and improve their CSR practices.
In this role, she will be primarily responsible for analysing companies' CSR practices and contributing to the selection of iXO Private Equity's portfolio holdings. In addition, she will be in charge of encouraging and supporting measures the companies have implemented through working with managers in a pragmatic manner.
By recruiting Hélène-Anaïs, iXO Private Equity is further demonstrating its position as a committed and responsible investor. Driven by the firm belief that tomorrow's most successful companies will be those that have adopted sustainable management practices, the Fund intends to assist its portfolio companies in formalising best practices in line with their particular characteristics and growth objectives.
Hélène-Anaïs Bouscarle explained: "After having worked for several years for large companies, I wanted to work with small and medium-sized companies to help them put in place operational CSR policies that would create value, performance, and durability. So I’m delighted to join iXO Private Equity, which allows me to take up this new challenge and whose values of closeness, availability and commitment have particularly attracted me.
Olivier Athanase, Managing Director of iXO Private Equity, added: "We’re very pleased to welcome Hélène-Anaïs Bouscarle as our CSR Manager. With her solid experience in guiding and promoting sustainable development strategies, she’ll be able to share her pragmatic and operational approach to CSR with our investment managers on an ongoing basis. This appointment demonstrates our continued societal commitment in a world where environmental and social issues are now inseparable from economic development and success.”
