A look back at the first Réussites Solidaires: working...
6 KEDGE graduates are members of the Executive Committee of the KEDGE BS Foundation
Under the chairmanship of Emeline BOURGOIN, 5 other graduates take part in deciding the intervention strategy of the KEDGE Foundation funds.
🤝 The KEDGE BS Foundation: a social and solidarity-based initiative
The KEDGE BS Foundation for Responsible Management, placed under the aegis of the Fondation de France, was created in 2010 on the initiative of four companies who wished to pool their resources to support the development of the KEDGE BS School:
- AXA Assurances,
- Société Marseillaise de Crédit,
- the ONET Group
- and the Mediterranean Network Department of BNP Paribas
Always aligned with KEDGE's strategic pillars, the KEDGE BS Foundation's mission is to support students throughout their studies by offering them a service of academic excellence, well-being and pedagogical innovation. In concrete terms, the Foundation transfers funds from corporate and alumni donations to students through social scholarships, entrepreneurial scholarships and funds the Ecole Entrepreneuriale and research chairs.
📚In 2022, corporate philanthropy represented 350K€ used to finance social scholarships for students in great precariousness, as well as the Ecole Entrepreneuriale equal opportunity program, which over 3 years trains young people who have dropped out of school to create their own jobs. A research chair has also received 90K€, aimed at developing new methods, techniques and concepts for organization and decision-making in the fields of supply chain, operations management and transport.
🎓 6 graduates on the Executive Committee of the KEGDE BS Foundation
The Foundation's governance is made up of partner companies and 6 graduates who wanted to make a greater commitment to the development of their former school.
Emeline Bourgoin, Foundation President
A graduate of KEDGE, class of 1998.
Emeline chose to develop her career in human resources management. Since graduating, she has gained a wealth of experience in major groups such as Canal+, Daily Motion and AXA. Most recently, Emeline held a strategic position within the ING Group retail bank, as Global Human Resources Business partner.
As President of the Foundation, Emeline is at the heart of our development and actively participates in the growth of our business.
💬 "I became involved in this mandate over 5 years ago to very actively support the KEDGE Foundation, which has been fully supporting access to higher education for all for 13 years. Which for me is key and really contributes to equal opportunities."
Jean-François Thunet, CEO of Mantu Consulting
Graduated from KEDGE, class of 1995.
President of the Junior Entreprise "Marketing Méditerranée" during his studies, Jean-François continues his commitment by donating to the KEDGE Foundation to finance the Ecole Entrepreneuriale. Sensitive to the detection of new, invisible talent, he worked with the Foundation's team a few years ago to develop the financing aspect.
Jean-François is CEO of Mantu Consulting, a consulting firm specializing in innovation and business transformation.
Georges Klenkle, Entrepreneur and Philanthropist
Graduate of KEDGE, class of 1995.
An alumnus of Capgemini, Georges is a serial entrepreneur, having founded 3 companies: Degetel in 1999, Eugeka in 2012 and Freemiumplay in 2018. Always committed to his former school, Georges provided the skills of his employees for the creation of the Foundation's website, estimated at over €400K in skills sponsorship. He is also a private donor and President of the KEDGE BS Alumni Network.
💬 "Yesterday a student, a scholarship holder and today an entrepreneur and philanthropist, I feel it is important to contribute to the development of the school that gave me the professional and personal impetus to become the person I am today. Our alumni community is made up of former scholarship holders who, like me, would be keen to give today's students every opportunity to succeed in their projects."
Benjamin Gaignault, Founder of Ornikar and Scarlett
Graduated from KEDGE, class of 2011.
Founder of two companies: Ornikar and Skarlett, Benjamin has been a seasoned entrepreneur since his school days. His goal is to make life easier for a segment of the population often under pressure when it comes to their purchasing power: young people under 25 and seniors over 60. He is also a business angel for a number of start-ups. Sensitive to issues of precariousness, as evidenced by the missions of these two companies, Benjamin joined the executive committee of the KEDGE Foundation in 2022.
💬 "Integrating the KEDGE Business School Foundation for Responsible Management, as an administrator, is a mission that is particularly close to my heart. It's a source of pride to award around ten scholarships each year to deserving students to help them finance their studies."
Murielle Vuong, CSR Director at VEEPEE
Graduated from KEDGE in 1999.
She built her career in communications within major press and luxury groups, before joining VEEPEE, the European leader in destocking. After a backpacking trip in 2017, she wanted to align her personal commitments with her professional activities by creating the position of CSR Director at VEEPEE.
💬 "When Emeline Bourgoin suggested I join the KEDGE Foundation, I was immediately attracted by the idea, firstly because Emeline is an inspiring, caring, committed and energetic person. Secondly, it's my desire to help make higher education accessible to all, so that talent can emerge. I'm delighted to be a member of the KEDGE Foundation to guarantee equal opportunities with concrete actions and results."
Laurent Cohen, Corania CEO
Graduated from KEDGE, class of 1995.
Laurent joined the family perfume company Corania, founded in 1934 by his grandfather Fernand Cohen. Based in Marseille, Laurent continues to develop the company according to the heritage of his ancestors, while taking the turn towards innovation and minimalism. He is also Vice-Chairman of UPE13.
Laurent joined the KEDGE Foundation Executive Committee in 2022.
Thanks
We would like to extend our warmest thanks to the members of the Executive Committee for their commitment to supporting students and academic research through the KEDGE Foundation.
