KEDGE graduate Jean-Roch VARON appointed Chairman of EY France

EY, the financial audit and consulting firm, has announced the appointment of KEDGE graduate Jean-Roch Varon as Chairman of EY France from July 1, 2024.

🚀 Jean-Roch VARON, a KEDGE graduate, has been appointed Chairman of EY France since July 1, 2024.

Jean-Roch Varon, with 32 years' experience at EY, as President of EY France, aims to consolidate EY's leadership position in France as amajor player in sustainable transformation. He also wants to maintain sustained growth, a spirit of diversity and inclusion, and continue to promote solid and innovative governance practices.

Prior to this appointment, Jean-Roch Varon was thepartner in charge of the Audit, Accounting and Financial Consulting, Sustainability and Forensic business for France and the Western Europe region, covering 25 countries and more than 30,000 employees. In this capacity, he managed a team of over 12,500 employees and 500 partners, generating sales of over €2 billion. His mission was to contribute to the structuring of best practices in governance and financial security, and took part in international strategic reflections on the changing role of the auditor, technological innovations and regulatory developments.

Currently, as Chairman of EY France, Jean-Roch Varon's objectives are to :

Promote an integrated, multi-disciplinary approach, combining sector excellence and expertise to meet the transformation challenges of their clients.
Strengthen EY's expertise in sustainability, by broadening skills and expertise across all businesses and markets.
Continue to develop sustainable strategies and business models, help companies decarbonize their activities and improve the measurement of extra-financial performance.
Continue to recruit with over 2,000 employees per year and offer attractive and inclusive careers.
