On November 27, 2024, Olivier Vojetta, a graduate of KEDGE Business School's Class of 2000, was awarded the prestigious Franco-Australian Excellence Award in the Arts and Culture category.

This award sponsored by Prix Yves Hernot honors his outstanding contributions to the promotion of French culture in Australia 🌐 particularly through literature, journalism, radio and community initiatives.

💡 Philo Bistro: an emblematic project

Among his landmark achievements is his work with theAlliance française de Sydney, where he co-founded and hosted the cultural talk show "Philo Bistro " 💡. Since its launch in 2022, this monthly event has become an unmissable rendezvous for exploring a variety of themes including life philosophy, literature and human or societal issues. This success has also led to two nominations for the French Australian Excellence Awards, in 2022 and 2023 before this recent individual distinction in 2024. 👏

🚀 An impact beyond events

In addition to his work at the Alliance française, Olivier Vojetta has distinguished himself as a published author 📖, radio host on 4EB in Brisbane 🎧, and contributor to the Courrier australien. His articles highlight the complex relationship between French and Australian cultures, strengthening the ties between these two nations.

🧠 Values inspired by KEDGE

Reacting to the recognition, Olivier said, "This recognition is not just a personal achievement, but a testament to the power of cultural exchange. KEDGE taught me the importance of versatility and creativity, which continue to shape my career path".

His dedication to promoting Franco-Australian cultural links reflects the values of leadership and openness to the world inculcated at KEDGE 🌍✨

👀 To be continued in 2025...

Olivier has no intention of stopping there!

The fourth season of his monthly cultural series "Philo Bistro " is already highly anticipated in 2025, with many prestigious guests. He will also have the privilege of organizing the very first Nuits de la Lecture Authors' Dinner in Australia, in collaboration with the "Rencontre des auteurs francophones" platform.
