The Loire Valley, the 3rd largest wine-producing region and one of the largest wine selections in France
KEDGE Alumni Wine Tasting - online
FIRST SEMESTER - Session 1: Thursday, 14 October 2021, 7:00 to 9:00 pm:
The Loire Valley, the 3rd largest wine region with one of the widest selections of wine in France
Discover the Loire Valley region in all its richness and complexity: its sub-regions, its different appellations, and its various grape varieties
These events, which have taken place for 20 years now, are led by Muriel Petit, professional oenologist, and KEDGE Alumnus Olivier Mora. Prior to each session, you will be sent a PDF with a selection of wines corresponding to the theme of the evening to purchase beforehand if you wish. You will be able to interact with and ask questions from our oenologist. Each session ends with a live tasting!
OPTIONAL: If you so wish, you can buy a wine related to the theme of the session to taste during the session. Prior to each session, you will receive wine suggestions related to the theme of the evening.
Here is a selection of wine available for purchase at Nicolas:
Whites:
Chateau de la Noé Muscadet (Muscadet)
Famille Bougrier Vouvray (Chenin)
Quincy Pierre Dupay (Sauvignon)
Menetou Salon Clément (Sauvignon)
Reds:
Cheverny Domaine de la Deschoucherie (Pinot Noir/Gamay)
Saumur Champigny Thierry Germain (Cabernet Franc)
Menetou Salon Cément (Pinot Noir)
Famille Bougrier Chinon (Cabernet Franc)
Nicolas' wine recommendations are for guidance only. Given the diversity of themes presented, recommending just one wine would not be representative of the entire content of the session, so we recommend several wines. Wines in bold are the best value for money or have the most reasonable prices.
