ALUMNI WORKSHOP

From stress to positive energy

Better understand stress and use elements from positive psychology to improve your quality of life and work.

Pedagogical objectives of the training programme:
-Evaluate your stress triggers and identify the resources you need to mobilise first.
-Discover practices to better recuperate.
-Identify revitalising factors.
-Discover your own anti-stress strategies to revitalise your daily life.

What is positive psychology?
Biologically speaking stress is the series of responses that an organism has when it is subjected to pressure or constraints from its environment. These responses always depend on the individual's perception of the pressure he or she is experiencing. Positive psychology is a discipline that was officially founded in 1998 by Martin E. P. Seligman. Positive psychology is primarily concerned with health and wellness, what makes humans resilient, happy, optimistic, rather than the sources of the problems.
Positive psychology "studies what gives a person meaning in their lives" according to its founder, Martin E. P. Seligman. It is the study of the forces, the optimal functioning and determinants of wellness.
