Tracktl, the interactive music solution created by a Kedger, is a hit!
A 2009 KEDGE graduate, Louis Aubert heads a start-up that has reinvented the jukebox.
Louis Aubert started at Kedge Business School in 2007 and, two years later, earned a Bachelor in International Business. He then attended San Diego State University for two years and earned a Bachelor in Marketing.
In September 2013, Louis Aubert and his partner Thibault Taupin founded Tracktl, an interactive music service for places, businesses, and events. Tracktl is a web platform that offers various playlists that have been thought out for each occasion, as well as interactive services such as Jukebox or Social Wall.
“Guests at events can add music to the playlist from their telephones. They vote for their favourite music and the winning tracts are played”, the cofounder of the start-up explained. Often described as Jukebox 2.0, Tracktl allows users to manage the ambiance of an event by giving them control of the music. From their smartphones, participants can add music to the playlist and vote for their favourite tunes in order to ensure the party, event, celebration, or wedding runs smoothly.

Users can also share messages, photos, or even tweets via an “interactive board” that’’s available on the platform. Only the organiser needs to register on the site. The only thing participants need to do is to connect via Facebook, Twitter, Google, or by providing an email address to which a link that will be sent to them.
The interface is simple, effective, and intuitive, and is user-friendly. Tracktl offers customised music catalogues, or integrates partner catalogues (such as sound identity agency and streaming services like Soundcloud / Deezer / Spotify / Qobuz, DJ etc.).
Since its creation, Tracktl has been used at more than 700 events and 300 locations, such as Franprix Hyperconnecté and Sodexo Social Hub.
