This summer you might wear a bathing suit created by this KEDGE Alumnus

After spending 10 years in a football training centre, with two training sessions per day, several injuries put an end to Simon's football career and any other project related to sports. It was a tough blow and meant that Simon had to start over. He decided to enter a prep programme for HEC, but that came with its own challenges, not only because of the inherent difficulty of the programme but also because he was very behind due to his adapted schedule. After two rough years a lot of hard work, Simon was admitted to KEDGE Business School in Bordeaux, where he became passionate about entrepreneuship. "From the beginning, I accumulated projects, business plans, small businesses in order to find an idea that would get my attention and for which I could give my all." At the end of his second year, he found his idea: Simon decided to bring together his passion for fashion and the luxury sector and his entrepreneurial projects, and decided to launch, with a childhood friend, a brand of luxury bathing suits. Hotin French Riviera primarily targets young people with significant purchasing power. "It took us a full year to build the business plan, find our initial materials, design the products, make them and start selling them. And most of all, find the idea that would set us apart from our competitors: the brand's symbol: a silver lock, like a piece of jewellery, is on all of our products to bring a touch of elegance and sophistication, which is a requirement for all luxury products."

At the dawn of their first season, everything is ready to go, and there is reason for optimism since orders have already started coming in. There is an interest in the concept!
