Class of 1984: 40 years on, a reunion full of memories...
This Kedger has created Phileas: the toiletry bag for travellers!
A KEDGE Alumni, Jerome Griffoul is the founder of Milan Noir, a new French luggage company located in Bordeaux.
After having worked for 15 years in business positions, in 2016, Jerome Griffoul decided to take continuing education courses at KEDGE BS in order to obtain his degree.
After he graduated, he launched his company: Milan Noir.
"Milan Noir came about because of a question I kept asking myself during my business trips: Can’t there be a more elegant, yet functional, alternative to the 1L freezer bag used to transport liquids in the aircraft cabin. After several years of thinking, regulatory studies, discussions with airport security specialists, I imagined the Phileas kit,” said Jerome.
His innovative creation will represent the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region at the Lépine International Competition in Paris in May.
First of all, this toiletry bag is elegant. It is handmade by craftsmen " who are in love with detail". It is made in France by a workshop located in the Tarhn whose expertise has been awarded with the "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" (Living Heritage Company) seal.
The Phileas toiletry bag is available in 7 colours:
- Phileas
- Phileas Black
- Phileas Blue
- Phileas Khaki
- Phileas Cocoa
- Phileas Coral
- Phileas Rose & Grey
Crowdfunding Campaign
In order to launch his brand, which includes financing for its participation in the Lépine International Competition of Paris, as well as for producing the first samples of this bag to display at the competition, Jerome will need 70 bags on pre-order (47% of the funds will go to for the launching of the product, 49% for participation in Lépine competitions, and 8% for Ulule).
