We are all unique, have singular backgrounds and have our own expectations. In this sense, the job search cannot be an imposed and unified exercise. This search must correspond to you, be personal to you. It is by asking yourself the right questions that you will be able to find the job search strategy that suits you best.
I propose that together we follow 10 key steps in your job search, from the reflection of your project to the validation of your trial period. At each of these steps, several approaches will be proposed to you, it is up to you to select the ones that suit you!

How did KEDGE help you become what you are today, and how did its teachings help you in writing your book?
I joined KEDGE after two years of intense preparatory classes, where the amount of freedom and creativity is quite limited. KEDGE allowed me to discover myself through the different modules offered, the different events organized by the associations, the university exchange and the different meetings. All these elements have allowed me to gain self-confidence, to dare to reach my objectives and to go further.
KEDGE has given me this entrepreneurial state of mind which corresponds to me and has never left me! After years of salaried employment, in 2021 I created "Mon Recruteur & moi", my own recruitment firm specializing in accounting firm jobs in Nantes, Angers and Rennes. In 2022, I wrote my first book "Le Pas à pas de la recherche d'emploi" for job seekers, published by Eyrolles (March 2023). Who knows what's next for me?
Can you tell us more about your book and to whom it is addressed?
I have been a recruitment consultant for 7 years and I am always very surprised when I meet candidates whose only aim is to "pass" their job interview. This can certainly open the doors to a permanent contract and a salary that allows a certain personal comfort.
However, I am convinced and motivated by the idea that recruitment must go beyond the simple interview. For me, it goes through several stages (10 to be precise).
Indeed, knowing oneself well, having well defined one's professional project are the fundamental steps to ensure professional fulfillment. In this book, I ask different questions to guide the reflection. Based on this observation, it is obvious that according to the expectations and constraints of each person, the search will not be the same. I therefore suggest different avenues of research, and it is then up to the job seeker to choose the ones that are most like him or her! On the other hand, the preparation of the application file and the conduct of the recruitment interview are more codified. The book therefore proposes outlines, questions and scenarios to familiarize yourself with these exercises. Finally, the book offers step-by-step instructions to help you negotiate the contract, prepare your departure and arrival in the new structure! We often forget that recruitment does not stop once the interview is over, but once the trial period is over!
This book is therefore intended for anyone looking for a job (for a first insertion into professional life, a return from long-term leave, a retraining or simply a change of employer). And as each search is unique, the book is participative: I ask different questions or suggest different approaches and each reader makes his or her own!
Finally, do you have a message for our graduates and students?
Trust yourself! Don't do what others expect of you, what society makes you conform to, but trust yourself! Dare to be yourself!
