In 2014, Nicolas joined AS Monaco as Deputy Managing Director. In that position, he oversaw Monaco's recent successes (the French championship title and the C1 saga) from the inside. He soon rubbed shoulders with some of the biggest names in the world of football: Radamel Falcao, Ricardo Carvalho, Jeremy Toulalan, and the very young Anthony Martial, who all wore the red and white jersey of Monaco. Before the emergence of the future crack player, Kylian Mbappé and the unexpected winning of the title of French champion won in 2017 at PSG.
He left the Monaco club at the beginning of March to join Stade Rennais.
