A look back at the first Réussites Solidaires: working...
The new General Director of the Bordeaux Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a KEDGE alumnus.
Pascal Faugère (ESC, class of 2016) had already been work for the CCI for several years and at age 54 he was just named General Directory of the institution.
KEDGE alumni have often held important positions within the Bordeaux economy. KEDGE in Bordeaux is a historically important business school in the Aquitaine region (formerly known as ESC Bordeaux, Sup de Co Bordeaux, and BEM) and has trained several of the region's leaders. Pascal Faguère, a recent graduate of the ESC program, has just joined this list of important actors in the Aquitaine region.
He has been working for the CCI in Bordeaux for several years, where he was notably in charge of business support services and was just named General Director of the CCI Bordeaux Gironde, as stated in an article in La Tribune:
The new President of the CCI Bordeaux Gironde, Patrick Seguin, who was elected on March 6th, was planning on recruiting a General Director at the end of April. However, the recruitment was quicker than expected. He officially nominated Pascal Faugère to manage the services of the new consular institute, which was born from the merger between the CCI in Bordeaux and Libourne.
Pascal Faugère is 54 years old, has a background in economics and finances, and is a KEDGE alumnus. These are not "uncharted waters" for him. He had been working at the CCI Bordeaux for several years and was previously in charge of support services for businesses and international relations.
As General Director for the CCI Bordeaux Gironde, Pascal Faugère will now be tasked with putting together a more transversal organisation system, putting the client at the centre of the institute's action and elected officials at the heart of its operation, as requested by the new assembly.
