This Kedger’s E-sport club is the Fortnite European Champion!
2009 KEDGE MBA graduate, Romain Sombret is the President and Co-founder of the e-sport club MCES, and recently became the European Champion on Fortnite.
In December 2018, we told you about Romain Sombret and his e-sport school in Marseille. Created in Marseille, this club combines sport and e-sport.
Last Sunday was a success! Frenchmen Alexandre "Andilex" Christophe (MCES) and Nathan "Nayte" Berquignol (LeStream) won the Fortnite Champion Series in pairs, the highest at the European level.
Incredibly consistent throughout the final, Nayte and Andilex, won the title of European Champions for this season. They dominated the final with 53 points in six sets, five more than the runners-up. They were neck to neck with the runners-up throughout the final, which was played out in the last game.
E-sports have continued during this period of confinement. Tonight we were able to experience extraordinary emotions!

As a reminder, the Fortnite Champion Series is the highest competitive body in Epic Games. For this season, the event was held in teams of two. For four weeks, best pairs of the continent battled it out to qualify.
