KEDGE Marseille-Lumniy Campus Extension Project
The school is growing and showing its ambition. To accompany its development, it has to adapt its infrastructure.
KEDGE has to meet international standards to ensure its growth. Therefore, it has be cohérent and offer infrastructure to responds to new ways of learning.
The project includes two parts.
The extension of the existing building (6,624 m² to be built – to be finalised in Septembre 2020) and the modernisation of the current buildings (20,124 m²).
The objective is to bring the three current sites in Marseille into one place and integrate growing numbers of future students.
It was planned as a continuation of the landscape of the Calanques Parc, by following the slope of the land. A landscaping project that supports the architectural project (planting - increasing the diversity of plants on the site to improve biodiversity...).
The new building meets new energy requirements, and the previous building will also be upgraded to meet current norms for reduced consumption. Everything is being done to improve energy consumption.
In line with KEDGE CSR policy the project has integrated a Sustainable Development logic. It even received a environmental performance label from the Bâtiments Durables Méditerranéens (BDM).
The school will be reconnected to the University Campus. The main entrance will now be located on avenue de Luminy and a BHNS (Bus à Haut Niveau de Service) bus, in front of the school, will improve us of public transportation and will move KEDGE closer to the Luminy Campus.
