KEDGE has just had its accreditation with AACSB renewed
KEDGE earned its first accreditation in 2016 - only three years after the merger between BEM and Euromed Management in 2013. It has just recently been awarded a renewal of its AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation for another five years. The school thus reaffirms its place within a prestigious circle of 102 schools in the world that hold triple accreditation from the most sought-after international accreditations: AACSB, EQUIS*, and AMBA**.
By renewing this standard of excellence, AACSB rewards the quality of KEDGE’s training courses and confirms the adequation of its strategy to the best international academic standards according to the three pillars of accreditation: commitment, innovation, and impact.
This accreditation is granted based on rigorous standards criteria that evaluate the school's governance and strategy, the impact of its research, the quality of its academic staff, and the alignment of its educational programmes with the needs of business practices.
"In an uncertain and continually changing world, we at KEDGE are aware of the crucial importance of developing solid and excellent research and teaching methods to train generations of enlightened leaders. The renewal of the AACSB accreditation provides us with immense satisfaction and motivation to continue to promote a management culture that is focused on innovation and a sustainable societal impact. Congratulations to all the teams who have worked together for this renewal," said Alexandre de Navailles, KEDGE General Director.
The AACSB auditors were satisfied with the soundness of KEDGE's strategic project. Amongst other attributes, the following three points that particularly reflect the school's values were commended:
- The variety and complementarity of its course portfolios, as well as the thoroughness of its pedagogy aligned with the needs of economic players,
- The quality of its research and the wide range of its intellectual contributions reflect the commitment and impact the school has on its community – a well-established school with roots in the region, and
- The drive to manage its business model by ensuring its economic, societal, and environmental sustainability, as is evidenced by its utilisation of the Sulitest and its participation in the Positive Impact Rating (PIR) score.
The re-accreditation of KEDGE by AACSB sends a strong message to all relevant stakeholders. It guarantees international recognition of its diplomas and attests to the academic and pedagogical requirements of the school in order to continue to attract the best researchers, professors, and students.
* EQUIS: European Quality Improvement System an accreditation run by the EFMD
** AMBA: Association of MBAs
