Class of 1984: 40 years on, a reunion full of memories...
KEDGE graduates, take part in the next Rentrée Climat and get online training!
Created in 2018, la Fresque du Climat association promotes understanding of the causes and consequences of climate change through collective intelligence workshops.
What is La Fresque du Climat?
La Fresque du Climat is a participatory workshop based on the scientific observations and impacts of climate change as described in the latest report of the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change). Students are trained in finding causal links between the different components of climate change, such as human activities to climate refugees and rising temperatures to rising sea levels.
Get training by participating in the next “Rentrée Climat”:
As part of the KEDGE Alumni Impakt project, and after the 2019 success of the "Rentrée Climat" (Back to School Climate Change), KEDGE wanted to reaffirm its CSR values and commitments by training a new class of students in climate change issues.
For this second edition, held in January this year, more than 900 students took part in the Fresque du Climat workshop. During four half-day workshops, students of the Grande Ecole Programme created 123 “frescos”, assisted by 90 facilitators, 48 of whom were trained specially for the occasion. In all, 48 members of KEDGE (teachers, administrative staff, members of the Management Committee, Alumni, and students from Parcours Management Association) contributed to the success of these 123 frescos! This strong commitment of our teams to our students demonstrates the entire school’s interest in CSR issues.
In September 2021, KEDGE will hold the "Rentrée Climat” (Back to School Climate Change) event for its students, which will consist of Fresque du Climat workshops. Additionally, KEDGE plans to train all members of its community (Alumni, students, professors, etc.) who would like to become part of the societal transition to climate change actions.
Testimonial, Tamila Chaouche:
"When I signed up for the Fresque du Climat, I didn’t have any particular expectations other than a curiosity in participating in an educational webinar organised by KEDGE. By taking part, I realised that there were a lot of details I didn't know about the climate and how it has changed over the decades.
In the space of one afternoon, the webinar’s trainers made me want to look more closely at the data and research of the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change), as well as to get involved in a more significant manner in order to repeat this experience and discuss the subject with others.
The very interactive way in which the session was held made the experience satisfying (with adapted tools, very fun (we had a good laugh!), and gave me the opportunity to meet future graduates (with whom I have kept in touch).”
How do I get training?
It’s simple and free! KEDGE finances the training, in exchange you agree to participate in two modules three hours each, either by distance or in-person (in Bordeaux or Marseille):
- Stage 1: Attend a Climate Fresco (3 hrs)
- Stage 2: Train to become a facilitator or manager (3 hrs)
When you finish these two modules you will become a member of the community of “Fresqueurs” community Fresque du Climat facilitators (more than 5,000 members). You will also be part of the “KEDGE Fresqueurs” community who are called upon and mobilised during our student events.

"It seems to be very important to raise awareness amongst our students of the urgency of climate change while giving them the opportunity to get together and forge new connections during "Reconnection Week". I am also very proud that some forty of the school's staff (professors and administrative teams) have volunteered to be facilitators during these the Fresque du Climat sessions, and to receive training beforehand. Given the importance of the issue at stake, I, and other members of the Management Committee, will take part in running the Fresque du Climat workshops.”
