Do you want to join the "Kedge Business Angels" Network and be kept informed about entrepreneurial initiatives by kedgers? Don't hesitate to fill out the below questionnaire.
In 2016, nearly 2.2 billion euros were invested in startups in France (source 2017 EY report).
KEDGE has made entrepreneurship one of its strategic axes and is putting its large ecosystem to use to promote the development of "its" startups. In fact, KEDGE entrepreneurs have been able to raise more than 6 million euros from alumni or partners of the school.
Do you also want to discover the projects being led by KEDGERS and possibly invest alongside them? We invite you to fill out this short questionnaire, which will allow us to create our "KEDGE Business Angels" network.

How is KEDGE investing in entrepreneurship?
Degrees
From a Bachelor's (Bac+3) to a MBA, as well as Masters (Bac+5), KEDGE offers students of all ages the opportunity to enrich their knowledge of entrepreneurship. Specialised degrees allow students to develop their business creation or take-over projects alongside professors and experts in entrepreneurship.
The support
KEDGE offers support services to enable any project, no matter how mature, to come to life and expand:
- Pre-incubation: The "Pro-Act Entrepreneurs" are students that receive support to develop their entrepreneurial spirit and management capacities through the creation and development of companies. These projects are led by students and come from KEDGE or the economic field. Each year, around 150 Entrepreneurial Pro-Act receive support.
- Incubation: The "Business Nursery" offers a range of services (meetings with experts and specialised coaches, workshops, conferences...) in order to support every step in the development of startups created by KEDGE students and alumni. The incubator receives around 400 candidates per year, among which around 15% are selected to join the programme for 6 months to a year.
- Acceleration: The "Business Accelerator" is a service for more mature projects that primarily need support in raising funds and developing and conquering new markets. Created in 2018, it enables five projects selected per year to receive support from experts and access the KEDGE Business Angels network
Expertise
Due to its network of professors, coaches, and experts, KEDGE is regularly contacted by big companies to support them in their innovation and intrapreneurship endeavours. The school therefore offers different types of services: organisation of hackatons, continuous education, consulting with students and experts on concrete cases brought by the companies...
Spaces
A rich ecosystem that reaches different types of populations with a common passion: entrepreneurship. With the goal to create real synergies and facilitate exchanges, a 500m² space dedicated to entrepreneurship was opened in Marseille in 2017 thanks to a 1M€ donation from the Fondation Daniel et Nina CARASSO. A similar 300m² space will be opened in Bordeaux in 2018, then in Paris, after a new campus is opened in the city.
Alumni at the heart of the ecosystem
A strategic committee
Composed of nine successful international and national alumni entrepreneurs, a Strategic Entrepreneurial Committee was created. It provides direction, expertise, helps with financing, communicates about the entrepreneurial initiatives, and opens new networks.
Alumni Clubs
Entrepreneurship also provides opportunities to share and exchange ideas. As such, three Alumni Entrepreneur Clubs based in Marseille, Bordeaux and Paris were created. Piloted by volunteer Alumni, they get together over conferences and workshops. They provide a good way to create connections and strengthen networks in an informal atmosphere.
