A 1997 KEDGE graduate, Jean-Philippe Desbiolles is currently Vice-President of the IBM’s division dedicated to artificial intelligence: IBM Watson Group.
Jean-Philippe Desbiolles graduated from KEDGE Business School Marketing and Finance Master in 1997.
With more than 22 years of experience at IBM, this KEDGE alumnus has lived and worked abroad, where he developed real expertise on Artificial Intelligence (AI).
After having built and piloted the AI division in Singapore, as well as that of the banking sector at a global level at IBM Watson Group in New York, he now leads the teams dedicated to artificial intelligence in France.
Sometimes referred to the “French Doctor Watson” by Forbes Magazine, Jean-Philippe is a major player in artificial intelligence (AI). He has effectively contributed to the largest cognitive projects in many different industries, such as finance, insurance, and telecoms.
Therefore, Jean-Philippe Desbiolles has real expertise in managing ultra-innovative programmes that bring together artificial intelligence, analytics, blockchain, the internet of Things, and the Cloud.
Wanting to share his knowledge, he has also authored a number of articles and regularly speaks at international conferences and on televised debates on AI, digital transformation, and ethics and technology (Columbia University, INSEAD, etc.).
In August 2019, his book “L’IA sera ce que tu en feras – Les 10 règles d’or de l’intelligence artificielle “( AI Will be What you Make of It - The 10 Golden Rules of Artificial Intelligence), Dunod editions.
In this book, “the author, a seasoned practitioner of artificial intelligence, demystifies AI with discipline and humour.
