“I’m getting a drink with an Alumna or Alumnus” - or how to place a value on Kedgers who have atypical careers
“J'irai boire un verre avec un alumni” (I’m getting a drink with an Alumna or Alumnus) (I'll have a drink with an alumnus) offers friendly meetups with Kedgers whose career paths are far from the norm for business school graduates.
The JIBVA to meet Alumni
The “J'irai boire un verre avec un alumni” student project consists of interviewing those Alumni, located in France or abroad, who have an atypical career. The goal is to have a good time and to make these Alumni accessible to KEDGE students. The interviewees are willing to leave their contact details and answer questions about their career paths and their professions.
Meetings take the form of a video (+ or- 15 min) broadcast on the networks created for this purpose. The team is hoping to publish two videos per month.
The project’s team
Four students from KEDGE’s Grande Ecole Programme (GEP) and KEDGE Bachelor programmes are behind the project.
- Charlotte Bachelery, KEDGE Bachelor
- Lucas Cartiaux, KEDGE Bachelor
- Maeva Carpentier, KEDGE Bachelor
- Clemence Devilleplee, Grande Ecole Programme Master 1
Alumni who have taken an uncommon career path
Xavier Lemaitre, GEP Class of 1989 – actor in the Netflix series Arsène Lupin
Olivier Vojetta, GEP Class of 2000, - writer, author of Courir encore
Marie Descamps, EBP, founder of the ethical clothing platform Tina
Michael Marquaille, manager of the Marseille restaurant, Le Misto
The Pro-Act
This student project is carried out as part of the Pro-Act. All KEDGE students in initial training programmes must carry out one or two Pro-Acts (Action Project), at the same time as their courses, which must be validated in order to obtain their degree.
