Video Replay: Conference on future jobs in Marseille
Couldn’t attend the 7th November meeting of the HR and Management Club? Don’t panic; it’s available as a video replay!
KEDGE Alumni and the HR Management Club (Audrey Berbersarkissian, Camille Le Cardonnel-Vidal and Maxime Wolff) organised a conference on “A New Age for Jobs: what’s in store for us?” which took place on 7 November at the Marseille Cité des Métiers.
Several essential questions were addressed:
What will our future jobs, and those of our children, look like in 10, 20, 30 years?
A number of changes are coming to the world of business and work. Implicated is the progressive obsolescence of job categories compounded by digitalisation and robotisation that will become more efficient than people, including for many intellectual tasks.
How do we prepare ourselves for the jobs of tomorrow, anticipate changes? What sectors and functions will be impacted?
Several considerations were looked at, such as the duration and organisation of work, the impact of robotisation on trades, the type of careers possible, and the modification of workplaces.
TO DEBATE THIS TOPIC, WE WELCOME:
- Karine Michel, Team Leader, Pôle Emploi ;
- Sara Houmair, Researcher, l’Observatoire Régional des Métiers;
- Vincent Richet, Director, La Coque;
- Philippe Rampal, COO Jaguar Network.
