Class of 1984: 40 years on, a reunion full of memories...
At 24 years old, this Kedger entrepreneur has raised funds in the amount of 14 million dollars!
Co-founded by Mario Moinet, a KEDGE student, the next-generation rental app has just raised 14 million dollars!
Founded in 2018 by Aziza Chaouachi, Yassine Ben, and Mario Moinet (KEDGE Alumni), leavy.co is the first community of travellers on the market that lets you travel more while paying less. The Parisian startup is developing a mobile travel solution designed specifically for Millennials.
The application aims to reinvent the way we travel. How? Through a platform that lets members start their tripoff with a 100% guaranteed income. All they have to do is become a "Happy Leavers" by entrusting their home to the company when they leave (for periods ranging from 2 days to 1 year). Leavy.co guarantees a fixed income whether it's rented or not.
The all-in-one app rewards the community in cash or travel credits (in Leavy Coins, a virtual currency), that can be used to book flights or accommodations and purchase local experiences at discounted prices.
A Fundraising of 12.7 Million Euros. No less! 👏
The young company recently raised 12.7 million euros. According to l’Écho Touristique, "The financing round was conducted by Prime Ventures with the participation of business angel Dominique Vidal from Index Ventures.”
Thanks to this incredible fundraising, the startup, which claims more than 65,000 users, now wants to develop further. The company already has offices in Paris, Amsterdam, London, Madrid, Rome, and Lisbon, and plans to open offices in the United States by the end of the year.
