A KEDGE graduate has been appointed COO of Morgan Stanley!
Jean-François Mazaud, KEDGE Alumnus (Class of 1990), has just been named Chief Operations Officer of the American bank Morgan Stanley.
Holding a Bachelor's degree from KEDGE Business School and a Master's degree in financial engineering from Emylon Business School, Jean-François Mazaud began his career at Banque Indosuez before going to work for Société Générale. He stayed with Société Générale for almost 30 years. He advanced in his career over the years, holding a number of positions of responsibility. Notably, he was behind many of the company's digital transformations. His achievements within the company were commended on a global level by Private Banker International in 2014.
His professional career took a new turn on 4 January 2022 when he was named COO of the prestigious private investment and management bank, Morgan Stanley.
In this new role, he will be responsible for the development and acceleration of the growth of the American bank's activities in France, reporting directly to Emmanuel Goldstein, Country Head and CEO of Morgan Stanley for France.
“Jean-François will play an important role in developing our presence in France and will work alongside the entire management team to help me achieve Morgan Stanley France's ambitions and strategic priorities”, said Emmanuel Goldstein, CEO of the French branch of the US bank in a press release.
