A former employee of Apple takes over the management at Ulysse Nardin
Patrick Pruniaux (ESC, class of 1997) has taken over the management of the watchmaker Ulysse Nardin at the end of August.
As CEO, he will notably be responsible for driving the Suisse Fine Watchmaker's international development by focusing on its capacity for innovation and excellence, and its know-how.
"His intimate knowledge of the watchmaking sector, both in terms of product innovation, clients, and distribution, will be a major asset to continue expanding this watchmaking company by focusing on its high-end technological know-how and its unique identity" explained Albert Bensoussan, Director General for the Luxury Watches and Jewellry Department at Kering.
Indeed, he has a lot of experience in the watchmaking sector, first at TAG Heuer, where he worked in several positions for nine years, and at Apple, where he helped launch the Apple Watch.
About Patrick Pruniaux
Patrick Pruniaux, 45 years old, started his career in 1997 with the Group Diageo in the United Kingdom and the United States, before joining the Wine and Spirits division at the Group LVMH, in Miami. In 2005, he was named Internation Export Director for TAG Heuer, where he took over sales for EMEIA in 2009. In 2010, he became Vice President Global Sales & Retail at TAG Heuer and a member of the company's Executive Committee. In 2014, he joined the special projects team at Apple, based in Cupertino, to help launch the Apple Watch. Since 2015, he was the Country Director for the UK and Ireland at Apple and a member of Apple's EMEA Executive Committee. Patrick Pruniaux also holds an MBA from HEC in Paris and a degree from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
