The Darkweb Economy: issues, tools, methods
TOPIC:
There are a number of myths surrounding the Darkweb, and a lot of the non-initiated have distorted ideas about it. However, the Darkweb is an environment that meets a number of structures and norms. This conference includes individuals who work at the interface between research and operations. They have all faced research and investigations on the Darkweb and will explain to you how it works, and more particularly, its economics. A platform of incessant legal and illegal economic exchanges, place of innovation of the crypto-actives of tomorrow, and increasing economic intelligence activity, the Darkweb and its economy have a lot to teach us...
PRESENTERS:
Marc-Olivier BOISSET, Engineer at the Ecole Speciale Militaire of Saint-Cyr:
Marc-Olivier Boisset is an engineer at the Ecole Speciale Militaire de Saint-Cyr (Special Military School of Saint-Cyr) and is currently completing his doctoral thesis on Cyber at PSL. He works in the field of Cybersecurity. He has notably been a speaker at SciencesPo, IHEDN, and ANSSI.

Jean LANGLOIS, Lecturer at SciencesPo and Researcher at INRIA:
Jean Langlois is a former Executive Advisor at the French Ministry of the Armed Forces. He’s currently conducting operational research, particularly on methods in Data Science and Complex Systems, and works on these fields in specialised organisations such as IHEDN, ANSSI, and the European Security and Defence College, but as well as SciencesPo and ESSEC. He is a member of the think-tank the Edinburgh Club.
