Your annual rendezvous at Zurich's Christmas market
Media and Justice" conference at KEDGE Bordeaux
Forum Events, KEDGE's student association, is honored to welcome Maître Henri Leclerc, French criminal lawyer and Commander of the Legion of Honor, to lead a conference entitled "Do Media and Justice mix?
A sign of the times, many legal cases seem to be settled in the court of public opinion, in off-the-record debates on TV, between invectives and polls, where the confidentiality of investigations is far from respected.
On the other hand, investigations by investigative journalists trigger unprecedented legal storms. In the wake of the Cahuzac, Fillon and Bygmalion affairs, the role of the judiciary is often criticized for its lack of independence from the world of politics, to the point of casting ever greater doubt on its ability to carry out its regalian mission.
